About Jawda
We mobilize global relationships to support childcare centers in the MENA region serving young children effectively prepare our youngest citizens for a successful future.
JAWDA - which means ‘quality’ in Arabic - is the first international, tiered Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS) developed for early childhood programs in the MENA region.
JAWDA helps children’s centers improve the quality of care and education provided to children and offers families with information that will help them make informed decisions about children’s services.
JAWDA enables practitioners to raise standards in early childhood settings beyond minimum licensing requirements and achieve high levels of performance as compared to international benchmarks.

Testimonials
“The rigorous requirements of identifying and submitting evidence of best practices, in six critical areas of early childhood education, provided an opportunity for the AKELC management to thoughtfully and thoroughly review the policies and operations that support high quality for the center’s children, staff and parents. It was professionally validating to receive specific commendations for the nursery and preschool programs, as well as to gain insights into areas for further development. We look forward to continued collaboration with the Arabian Child.”
